SADHANA FOR THE AQUARIAN AGE

A Special Sequence of Mantra given by Yogi Bhajan in 1991

For Early Morning Sadhana:

These mantras capture the frequency of the Aquarian Age,
around a person, as we cross the threshold into it.

1. Long Ek Ong Kar’s (Adi Shakti Mantra)

Ek Ong Kar Sat Nam Siri Waa-hey Guru.

The Creator and all creation are one. This is our True Identity.
The ecstasy of this wisdom is Great beyond words.

This eight part (ashtang) mantra corresponds to the body's eight
energy centers (7 chakras, plus aura). These eight words are the
"code" letters or the phone number of the direct line to connect
you, the creature, with your Creator. It was the first mantra Yogi
Bhajan taught during his first year in the United States. This mantra
creates a responsive interrelationship between you and the universal
creative energy. It is very powerful for awakening the kundalini energy
and suspending the mind in bliss.

2. Waah Yantee, Kar Yantee

Waah yantee kar yantee ..
Jag doot patee .. aaaak it whaa-haa ..
brahmaaaay trayshaa guroo
It wha-hay guroo

Great Macroself, Creative Self.
All that is creative through time, all that is the Great One.
Three aspects of God: Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh.
That is Wahe Guru.

This mantra is from the teachings of Patanjali. The practice of this
mantra is the culmination of thousands of years of prayer.


3. Mul Mantra (sometimes spelled “Mool Mantra”)

EK ONG KAR, SAT NAAM, KARTAA PURAKH, NIRBHAO, NIRVAIR, AKAAL MOORAT, AJOONEE, SAIBHANG, GURPRASAAD, JAP.
AAD SACH, JUGAAD SACH, HEIBHEE SACH, NAANAK HOSEE BHEE SACH.

The Creator and all creation are One. This is our True Identity.
The Doer of everything. Beyond fear.
Beyond Revenge.
Image of the Infinite.
Unborn. Self-illumined. Complete in the Self.
This is the Guru's Gift.
Meditate!
True in the beginning. True through all time.
True at this instant. 0 Nanak. Forever true.


The Mul Mantra is a fate killer. It removes the fate and changes the destiny to complete prosperity. Recited for 11 minutes a day, it rids one of fear and keeps one in touch with the very foundation or root of life, the soul. Reciting it rids one of all enemies.” [Dr. Sant Singh – Nitnem] Gives capacity to retain rulership over the 108 elements in the Universe. 108 letters in Mul Mantra.

These are the opening words of the Siri Guru Granth Sahib. The highest of all mantras, this mantra orients the mind, like a compass, towards God. It forms the basis of the consciousness of our very soul. In case of mental troubles, Mool mantra works perfectly and fast.


4. Sat Siri, Siri Akaal 

Sat siree .. siree akaal .. siree akaal..
maahaa akaal.. maahaa akaal ..
sat naam .. akaal moorat,
wha-hay guroo

Great Truth, Great beyond Death, Great beyond Death,
Great beyond Death,
Truth is His Name, Deathless Image of God,
Great Beyond Words is this Wisdom.

"Sat Siri Akal" is our victory mantra. When we confront death, we say, "Sat Siri Akal." "Truth is great and undying."
This mantra of the Aquarian Age gives you prosperity, power, health, prayers, anything you want. It will bring bad luck to good luck. When there are stars squaring you, it will ease them into triangles
If you perfect it, and then recite it, even a dead person will get up in one piece.

5. Rakhe Rakhan Har

Rakhe Rakhan Har Aap Ubaarian.
Gur kee pairee paa-eh kaaj savaarian.
Hoaa aap dayaal manaho naa visaarian,
Saadh janaa kai sung bhavajal taarian.
Saakat nindak dusht khin maa-eh bidaarian.
Tis Saahib kee tayk Naanank man-ai maa-eh.
Jis simarat such ho-eh sagalay dookh jaa-eh.

God Himself is looking out for us,
gives us the light. and takes care of our affairs.
God is merciful, and never forgets us.
God guides us, giving us good people to help us.
God does not allow hurt to come to us.
I take comfort in the thought of God.
When I remember God, I feel peaceful and happy
and all my pain departs.

These are the words of Guru Arjan, the 5th Sikh Guru, and are for
complete protection. It is from the evening prayer (Rehiras), which
adds energy to one's being, and helps when you are physically weak
or have limited wealth. It is a victory song which allows us to be
guided by God's graceful and merciful hand. It does away with the
obstacles to fulfilling one's destiny.

6. Wahe Guru... Wahe Jio 

Wha-hay guroo wha-hay guroo
wha-hay guroo wha-hay jeeo

Great beyond description is His Infinite Wisdom.

This is the mantra of ecstasy. This mantra means "Indescribably
Great is God's infinite, ultimate wisdom."
“Jio” is an affectionate, but still respectful, variation of the word ji, which means soul. The word jio sends the message directly to the soul. "0 my soul, God is!"
This mantra causes a very subtle rub against the center of the upper
palate and stimulates the meridian known in the West as the Christ Meridian Point, and in the East as Sattvica Buddha Bindu.
Soothe the wounds of life with the infinite bliss this mantra induces.

7. Guru Ram Das Chant

Guroo Guroo Wha·hay Guroo,
Guroo Ram Das Guroo

(GURU MANTRA OF GURU RAM DAS)
Wise, wise is the one who serves Infinity.

This mantra brings self-healing, miracles, emotional relief and protection through the grace of Guru Ram Das, by connecting to his spiritual guiding light. It can help rescue you in the midst of trial and danger.
This mantra was given to Yogi Bhajan by Guru Ram Das in his Astral Self. Guru Ram Das gave a promise he would be with us whenever we need him, when we chant this mantra.
